The Guber-house is a typical old village house, right by the train station. The apartment Barlis is a large 2.5 room apartment (80 m2). Colorful, cozy, practical, special. With large eat-in kitchen, garden seating area and small fitness room. Opportunities for shopping, the lake, the nature, sports and excursion destinations are in the immediate vicinity.
The apartment Barlis has the following sleeping places: separate bedroom with double bed and additional bed. Large living room with two pull out sofas (= double bed). The living room can be divided into two rooms within seconds using a mobile room divider. So the intimate sphere is preserved. Suitable for a maximum of 7 people. Wi-Fi and TV available.
The location, the ambience, the surrounding area - Alpnach is pure nature, with many offers to relax or to practice mountain and water sports. .
Our guests have access to the gym-room on the ground floor, the washing machine, the dryer and the garden.
We live in the same house. It is our pleasure to support our guests with tips and suggestions for excursions in the region - often it is about offers and places outside the official tourist paths.
Our house is integrated into the village, but not in the middle, which is a big advantage because we are in five minutes in the nature and at the water. From the apartment you are also in five minutes on the train or on the highway. In 20 minutes our guest are in Lucerne.
Obwalden is one of the most typical landscapes in Central Switzerland: original, varied and still largely intact. An ingenious region for hikers, mountain bikers, paragliding and delta pilots and, of course, motorcyclists. In winter it is a paradise for skiers and snowboarders.
Please note that the Guber-house offers two holiday-apartments: The apartment "Gerlis" on the first floor and the apartment "Barlis" on the second floor.

|Location description||Alpnach is located in the canton Obwalden, in the heart of Central Switzerland. The village has about 6000 inhabitants and is located 500 meters above sea level. The character is rural, with urban influences. The main town of the canton Obwalden is Sarnen. The small town is a train station, or just ten minutes by car from Alpnach away.|
Alpnach is surrounded by mountains and green forests. The valley station of the Pilatus-Bahn is only five minutes away and the Alpnachsee is only a few minutes more away.
The population of Alpnach benefits from being able to live on the countryside and near the mountains. On the other hand, the economic centers are not far away. Our guests also benefit from this good location.
