On a quiet hill at the edge of the small village Chalkoutsi, lies the two-storey holiday home CHALKOUTSI. The view goes over to the opposite coast of Euboea, a beautiful backdrop with a thousand glowing lights in the evening. A narrow path leads to the beach with sunshades, sun loungers, a café with pool and a restaurant.
The purpose-built CHALKOUTSI holiday home from 1975 was partly renovated in 2019. A well-kept lawn and garden plot around the holiday home as well as 2 terraces with seating offer the right setting for a relaxing holiday.
On the ground floor is the living room with direct access to the covered terraces. One step higher from the living room there is a swing door to the semi-open kitchen with a cosy dining area. The bathroom adjoins it. In the upper floor are 3 bedrooms with roof slope to one side, as well as 2 small baths (in 2019 remodeld). From each bedroom there is an exit to a balcony with some sea view.
The washing machine is in a separate niche of the house. Common entrance and parking with another house of the landlord family.
From the holiday home to the city centre of Athens (Syntagma), the Acropolis and the Acropolis Museum it is about 60km. From culture to shopping everything is comfortable and easily accessible.
Several beaches after approx. 650m to 2km are within walking distance.
In the village Chalkoutsi the existing infrastructure provides all amenities. Directly at the sea with view on the island Euböa several cafés and taverns line up next to each other at the pedestrian promenade. The extended marina with boat and yacht harbour gives the charming village a charming atmosphere in summer. In the larger neighbouring village Skala Oropou after approx. 5km you will find numerous shops, supermarkets, pharmacies, pastry shops, bars, taverns, cafés, banks and ATMs. From Skala Oropou there is an hourly ferry service to Eretria on the opposite island of Euböa. To the south of the pier there is a beautiful, wide pebble beach that stretches for several kilometres.
