We rent our holiday-home in the small fisher village and thermal spa of Caldetas/Caldes d’Estrac, 35km away from Barcelona at the end of the Costa Brava. The place is one of the most beautiful and noble villages on the coast, built in different styles between medieval and modern times with its promenade and a large beach. As the house is near to the station it’s possible to be in the heart of Barcelona within 45 minutes. Therefore it’s ideal for a beach-holiday combined with sight-seeing.
The house with 10 rooms, built at the turn of the last century is surrounded by a 2000m2 large fenced in garden and lies directly at the beach. It has been renovated in the last years and is partly furnished with antiques. Thanks to the large space and the arranged furniture the house can be used by 2-3 families at the same time.
Ground-floor (wheelchairable): 1 large living-/dining-room with open fire-place and Sat.-TV, big kitchen (dish-washer, oven, gas-stove), pantry with 2 big refrigerators, 2 double rooms, 2 single rooms, 1 WC, 1 bathroom with WC and bidet.
1st floor: 3 single rooms, 2 double rooms (1 with open fire-place and refrigerator), shower, WC, bidet, balcony, 1 terrace 16m2, 1 terrace 12 m2, all rooms in the house have a wash basin.
2nd floor: observatory tower.
1 garage and several parking places on the estate.
Garden: pergola covered with flowers, seats and big table, paddle pond, some lemon trees, stone-pines, acacias, the huge, towering eukalyptus-tree, bamboo bushes, mimosas, jasmine, bougainvilleas.
Infrastructure: covered market and shops in the village (1km away), big shopping center with cinemas and McDonald’s (4km away), thermal spa 37°C. Train connection to Barcelona: 2 non-stop trains an hour. (Railwaystation is about 300 m away).

October-December (27.09.08 - 31.12.08) EUR 1'250.-
Each week 1x linen and bathing towels EUR 7.- per person.
Final cleaning EUR 140.-
WE DO NOT RENT to persons less than 20 years old. Youth groups must be led by responsible guides. |
