| The romantic landscape of the Luberon has been fascinating its visitors for generations. This region characterises the nature of the Provence. The majestic Luberon mountain range invites you for lengthy hikes and explorations of the beautiful landscape. There is a typically Provencal market that takes place in Apt every Saturday. Our holiday domicile which was renovated only very recently is located some five kilometres outside St-Saturnin-lès-Apt in the little hamlet Les Bassacs on a 3000 m² enclosed plot. The property which also holds a swimming pool (about 8m x 4m) and a well was constructed in terrace style. From the terraces you have a stunning panoramic view of the surroundling landscape. You enter the property with your car by descending a very steep slope. There is a main house and a so-called cabanon (small house) which means that this domicile is pefectly suited for families or couples who want to spend their holiday together but occasionally need to be by themselves. Furnishings In the 110 m² holiday house you with central heating you will find a living / dining room with open fireplace and passage into the open kitchen area that is equipped with a fridge, freezer, ice-cube maker, baking oven, cooker, percoplator, dishwasher, microwave etc. This level holds two bedrooms with a double bed (about 160 cm wide) and one bedroom with two single beds (each about 90 cm wide). There is also a bathroom with shower as well as a separate toilet. The heart of the house, however, is the living / dining room furnished in typical Provencal style. Adjacent to this room there is a conservatory which offers a breathtaking view onto the impressive landscape of the Luberon. Both the conservatory and the kitchen offer access onto the 200 m² terrace with garden furniture, a barbecue area and two old mulberry trees which offer lots of shade in summer. The pool area is found at the lowest-lying part of the property and is accessed via stairs. The holiday domicile also has a separate, completely independent cabanon (small house) that can be heated or cooled by means of an air condition. Via a separate terrace with panoramic view and garden furniture you enter the 40 m² living room / bedroom with two single beds, a small kitchenette (hotplate, fridge etc.) and a mezzanine with bathroom and toilet. Upon request a chef can be hired for special occasions or for general catering purposes. Language or drawing courses can also be arranged for upon request.
