| Albarella is a private island, southwards of Venice, where you can spend your holidays relaxing or practicing your favourite sport.The island is situated in the "National Nature Resort of the Po Delta" (connected through a bridge to the mainland) and measures 5 by 1,5 Km. 2/3 rds out of 5,3 square kms consist of Mediterranean vegetation. Albarella has 2 million trees of 150 different species, some of them are the "Maritime pine tree" and the "White poplar", "Populus Alba", that’s where Albarella gets his name from.Here deer, pheasants, rabbits, herons, march hawks, stilt birds and egrets find their natural habitat.The whole surface, ground as well as water, are under strict environmental surveillance. Furnishings Two-room flats (approx. 48 m2) in various groups of terraced houses, all on one level, either on the ground floor with garden (some with a terrace) or on the 1st floor with a balcony, some with a roof garden. Living room with a sofa bed for two persons, kitchen line and dining corner, one bedroom with a double bed. Bathroom with bath tub or shower and toilet. Garden furniture and sun umbrella. Parking space for one car. On this island you will see most of the time people walking or riding their bycicle as the traffic is limited. General remarks: The holiday flats are spread on the whole island so that the distances mentioned are only approximate and it is possible that the differences may be several hundred metres.
