| Albarella is a private island, southwards of Venice, where you can spend your holidays relaxing or practicing your favourite sport.The island is situated in the "National Nature Resort of the Po Delta" (connected through a bridge to the mainland) and measures 5 by 1,5 Km. 2/3 rds out of 5,3 square kms consist of Mediterranean vegetation. Albarella has 2 million trees of 150 different species, some of them are the "Maritime pine tree" and the "White poplar", "Populus Alba", that’s where Albarella gets his name from.Here deer, pheasants, rabbits, herons, march hawks, stilt birds and egrets find their natural habitat.The whole surface, ground as well as water, are under strict environmental surveillance. Furnishings Three- room terraced houses (approx. 70 m2) in Fiordi (water area), modern and functional furnishing, satellite TV. Ground floor: living room with sofa-bed for two persons and kitchen corner with oven and dishwasher. Bathroom with shower or bath tub with toilet. SAT-TV. Terrace with garden furniture and sun umbrella, small garden. External shower and fire place. First Floor: one bedroom with double bed and one bedroom with two single beds or bunk bed. One bathroom with shower or bath tub and toilet. Air conditioning on the first floor The houses are separated from the water by a hedge of the fiordi. Parking space for two cars. On this island you will see most of the time people walking or riding their bycicle as the traffic is limited.General remarks: The holiday houses are spread on the whole island so that the distances mentioned are only approximate and it is possible that the differences may be several hundred metres. Swimming pool in the Centro Sportivo can be used free of charge with the Albacard (card allowing to use equipments of the island either free of charge or at a lower price).
