Description

One area in Cyprus that bears witness to early human settlement by humankind is the Vasilikos Valley. The remains found here date back to 7000 B.C. The pleasant climate and the fertility of the soil are the reasons for the wealth in history the valley has experienced for thousands of years. The small, typically Cypriot village of Kalavasos snuggles at the hills surrounding the valley. Agriculture remains the main source of income. Only in recent has a gentle tourism succeeded in fighting the growing depopulation. The old town house where you will stay and which was renovated in the nineties is located in the serene village centre. From the pool you have a lovely view of the village beneath you.

Furnishings

The holiday flats with a living surface of about 35 sqm are located on various floors and have either a terrace or a balcony. During renovation of this house which was built in the early 20th century care was taken for a traditional character to remain, the terracotta floor bearing witness to that. Preparing the freshly-purchased food in the living/dining room´s kitchen line, which may also be found on the first floor, promises to be at least as much fun as enjoying it thereafter. The air-conditioned bedroom has two single beds. An additional bed can be rented.
