| Lake Idro is 11 kilometres long and two metres wide and is situated in the Italian province of Lombardy. This aquatic attraction is located only about 35 kilometres west of its more popular “neighbour” Lake Garda. Coming from southern Germany, you can easily reach the destination within a day crossing the Alps via the Brenner Road. Lake Idro is surrounded by a fascinated low mountain range scenery. The lake is embedded in a wide and steep valley. Thanks to the very stable wind conditions Lake Idro is known as being one of the best destinations of its kind among surfing and sailing fans. Here you can expect a very mild climate with warm sunny days stretching into the late fall. In this mountain scenery characterised by large pine tree forests hikers and mountain bikers alike will find ample opportunities to indulge in their favourite activities. From here you can also do day trips to Salo, Desenzano and Sirmione. You can even enjoy time in Venice or visit an opera house in Verona. Furnishings Casa Ruth is only about 100 metres away from the lake and consists of two comfortable holiday flats. From here you have a breathtaking view of Lake Idro. The house has its own garden . Flat A is located on the ground floor, flat B on the top floor. Each apartment is about 42 m² large and is furnished for between two and four people.
