| The Lake of Idro is 11 km long, 2 km wide and is situated in Northern Italy in the Lombardia approx. 35 km to the west of the famous Lake of Garda. Surrounded by a wonderful steep mountainous landscape, this lake is one of the best places for surfers and sailing-boats on account of the soft breeze present the year round. In this mountainous world with pines you will have the possibility to do numerous walking trips or to discover this area with a mountain bike. Daily trips to Salo, Desenzano and Sirmione on the edge of the Lake of Garda and to Venice should be part of your programme.
