Two houses more than 200 years old welcome you to a site containing a wooded hill which dominates the valley of Apt and offers a remarkable panorama stretching from Mont Ventoux to the mountains of Vaucluse.On the property you can follow small footpaths which take you through fields of lavander and brushwood, past the remains of an old hermitage and the tower of St. Elme, a watchtower dating from the year 1000. From there you will have an exceptional view of many villages dotted around the valley of Apt.A swimming pool (10 x 5 m x 1,90 m deep), situated in the centre of a large wooded section, will refresh you during the hot hours of the day. A smaller pool for children (5 x 3 m x 0,80 m deep) is situated in a neighbouring field. (In use from the beginning of May to the end of September). The landlords inhabit another part of the house with private entrance path. Furnishings This typically provencal stone farmhouse preserves the charm of another time on two floors 50 m² each with lots of space and light, opening out to shaded areas.The ground floor leads to a terrace of shady greenery and flowers, where roses mix with rosemary and oleander. This floor consists of a big living room with two twin beds and an open equipped kitchen (dishwasher and microwaveare also available) a bathroom with two showers (not separate) and two washbasins, and an independent toilet. On the first floor there is a very big bedroom with a living room corner, from which one can discover the villages dotted throughout the valley of Apt.
