A calm and restful stay, in guest rooms (Bed & Breakfast), studios or furnished apartments (self catering) which offer you comfortable and restful accomodation, at reasonable prices, where you will enjoy tranquillity, a natural setting and pure mountain air. 1-15 persons. Large garden with fishpond, veranda / conservatory and view to the mountains. All shops, facilities and sports installations on the spot. Touristic train of the country of the fairies. Can be easily reached by car or train (TGV/HST Paris-Neuchâtel in 4 hours / reduction for holder of a Swiss Pass !). Villa Moncalme is situated at about 10 minutes on foot from the railway station and from the village centre. Access possible for handicapped persons. A region of lakes, mountains, rivers, canyons, natural reserves. Ideal for hiking, cycling, fishing, riding; cross country (nordic) skiing up to 5000 feet. We like children! Outdoor and indoor games are available, including small size Legoland and books galore. MonCalme is located amidst very quiet surroundings with very little local traffic. There's a fish pond and suitable bikes are available for hire at the villa. Farm animals, wooded lanes, swimming pools, the local nature reserve are all within walking distance from house.
