Beautiful Provencal Mas, dating from the XVIII century, situated in a peaceful and quiet hamlet between St. Hippolyte-du-Fort and Anduze. The house has been fully restored in traditional style and offers every comfort you might wish for. An idyllic garden of more than 3000 m2 with roses, lavender and lots of trees - offering shade in the heat of the day - provides tranquility to relax and enjoy being away from it all. Large swimming pool surrounded by sun terraces and equipped with loungers. Pool may be used from Mai - September (dep. on weather also earlier / later in the year). The house (surface of 250 m2 in total) contains a living room (70 m2) with fireplace, a kitchen/dining-room (50 m2) with fireplace, 6 bedrooms (3 double-rooms, 2 single-rooms, 1 large room with 2 single beds), 3 bathrooms with WC, 2 separate WC, a playing room with table tennis and table football, TV, Video, DVD, HiFi, Telephone (4 portables) and Fax. Extremely well equipped kitchen. Situated between the Nîmes and Montpellier planes and the Cevennes mountains this region offers the best of both: a beautiful landscape covered with vineyards and olive trees as well as the typical Cévenol hills with its huge chestnut woods. It is a wonderful area for those who love to walk, cycle, ride, canoe, paint or just relax. We are about fourty minutes from the wonderful town of Nîmes with its preserved Roman remains, and about an hour away from Arles and the Camargue as well as from the bustling city of Montpellier. There are numerous picturesque villages, churches, cloisters and other historic buildings to discover. Shopping possibilities in the nearer surroundings (4 to 8 km). Car indispensable. The house is ideal for couples, for families with or without children, as well as for senior citiziens provided they are able to climb some stairs.
The property may be available at any time of the year and makes a great setting for spending your holidays or for a family reunion. Minimum stay of 7 days; exceptions to be dicsussed.
