| Holiday apartment, in Gerra Gambarogno, with lake view! "Gerra" is the ideal place for hikers and for peace seekers. Ascona, Locarno, and the romantic valleys of Ticino are within short distances. Gerra is also very close to the Italian border, respectively to the euro zone. Every Wednesday, in Luino (Italy, 30 minutes by car or by train), there's a popular market. Como is at about 1 hour drive from here and Milan is also not far away (1.5 hours). In the summertime, ship excursions on the lake "Maggiore". This is a two-apartment house and it is located 10 minutes walk from the train station and just 2 minutes walk from the bus stop. Restaurants and a grocery for daily needs are within walking distance. 2 minutes' walk to the lake. Several footpaths and hiking trails invite to nice walks all the year round and in autumn for gathering chestnuts. The apartment has a living room, two bedrooms, kitchen and shower / toilet. All rooms and the terrace with stunning views of the lake, Ascona and the mountains.
