The free-standing, spacious stone house BLUE STONE is located in close vicinity to the long beautiful sandy beach of Triopetra, in the south of Crete. The holiday house owes its name to the beautiful blue-grey stones of the region that were used to build it. Following the typical Cretan architecture, the interior of the two-storey house on elevated ground-floor is built in an open fashion and comfortably and tastefully furnished. Several terraces with sitting areas, some of them sunny or partly shaded with a pergola, invite you to enjoy the wide view across the sea and simply sit or lie to relax and dream. The well-maintained, enclosed garden and nature property is covered with olive trees, Mediterranean plants and flowers and offers plenty of possibilities for retraction.
The comfortable holiday accommodation BLUE STONE is on the first and second floor. The ground level is used for storage rooms. The combination of stone and wood in the interior of the holiday house creates an attractive, cosy atmosphere. The open living/dining room with adjoining kitchen (renovated in March 2017) and bathroom is on the first floor. There is direct access to the beautifully designed front terrace that is partly roofed and another roofed garden terrace on the side. A wooden staircase leads from the living room to the second floor with 3 bedrooms and one bath. The bedroom with double bed has a direct exit to a private terrace with a wonderful view of the sea and the surrounding glorious landscape of south Crete.
There is lots of space for quality time together with family or friends to enjoy cooking, chilling and simply relax. The distance to the next village Akoumia is about 10 km. The distance to Spili, where you have a wide choice of shopping facilities is approx. 20km. There are some taverns on the large beach of Triopetra, approx. 900m away from your accommodation.
