Tagestouren entlang der Kueste von Murcia im Sueden bis Catellon im Norden, Fahrten in die Berge; dort auch Bergsteigen alpiner Natur moeglich, Im Umkreis von ca. 30 km gibt es mehrere Tier- und Themenparks und gut 2 Dutzend wunderschoene Straende, auch fuer FKK. Dazu ausreichend Tauchgelegenheiten.

Location descriptionDer Küstenort Javea an der nördlichen Costa Blanca gehört zu den bevorzugten Urlaubszielen Spaniens. Viele Strände, romantische Badebuchten, eine intakte Umwelt, dazu die dramatische Bergwelt und eine freundliche Bevölkerung machen Javea einzigartig. Jávea, zwischen den Landzungen San Antonio und La Nao, liegt im Norden der Provinz Alicante. Die Landzunge La Nao trennt die Buchten Alicantes von Valencia und ist gleichzeitig östlichster Punkt der Autonomen Region Valencia.

Zum Schutz vor Piratenangriffen haben sich die Einwohner von Jávea 2 km weit im Landesinneren niedergelassen und eine ummauerte Siedlung errichtet, die bis 1877 erhalten blieb. Dort befindet sich heute der historische Stadtkern, in dessen Zentrum die Kirche Iglesia de San Bartolomé erbaut wurde. Schön anzusehen sind die weissen Häuser mit Eisengittern und Fenster- und Türstürzen aus goldbraunem Erdmaterial, das "Tosca" genannt wird. Lohnenswert ist ein kleiner Spaziergang durch das historische Zentrum mit Rathaus, Markt, Kulturzentrum, dem Archäologischen und dem Ethnologischen Museum und der Kapelle Capilla de Santa Ana.

2 km vom historischen Stadtzentrum liegt die als "Aduanas del Mar" bekannte Küsten- und Hafenzone Javeas. Hier findet besondere Erwähnung die in der Form eines Schiffes gebaute Kirche Nuestra Señora del Loreto. Auf der parallel zum Strand Playa del Benissero verlaufenden Landstrasse gelangt man nach El Arenal mit dem gleichnamigen, beliebtesten Strand Jáveas und dem einzigen staatlichen Hotel der Costa Blanca.
