Property description

Holiday cottage with great decor. Built in autumn (2008)* and located in the newer resort at Tranum Strand. With the large windows that provide a fantastic light throughout the day, the house appears very bright. The choice of materials and furnishings are of high quality in modern Danish design, and will no doubt contribute to the family's well-being during their stay. The house has 4 bedrooms and thus room for 8 people. 2 bathrooms and from one you have direct access to the sauna and the whirlpool. Kitchen/dining area and living room has an open connection. The whole family can gather for indoor activities and enjoy the wide open spaces while being together. There is a small covered terrace and a large open terrace which is surrounded by hedgerows. Clothesline available. Playground equipment for children.

Holiday area at Tranum Strand with shared facilities

With a few kilometres to the sea and beach, a scenic area ideal for hiking and in beautiful surroundings, a cottage area at Tranum Strand was founded in (2009)*. The area is designed for modern, busy families who want peace and quiet of the holiday, but at the same time would like to have the opportunity to enjoy the outdoors when the weather and the desire is to it. The holiday cottages in the area are almost all equipped with whirlpool, sauna, satellite TV with German channels and a modern interior in high quality. Each house stands on its own plot and access to the houses is via the small connector roads minimising driving in the area. The large common area in the middle of the area has the following activities, free of charge for all the guests in the area:

Football golf with 9 holes

Hiking and cycling trails which crossing the area

Krolf arc with croquet holes (can also be used for mini golf)

Soccer goals

7x7 m pavilion with barbecue hut

Petanque court

Huge sandbox

Swings, play tower, slide, playhouse, balance beam, spider net, seesaw

Beach volleyball.

When the weather is for trips to the beach, Tranum has a lovely sandy beach with clean water that receives EU quality label 'Blue Flag' year after year. From the parking lot to the water's edge there is a ramp so that wheelchair users also have easy access to the sea.

Starting at Tranum Strand there is a relatively short distance to many of North Jutland's famous tourist places like Fårup Summerland, Blokhus, Aalborg Zoo, Aalborg Tower, Klitmøller windsurfer paradise, Bulbjerg's steep cliffs and the North Sea Science Park in Hirtshals. Do not forget to take a walk along the sea and buy a freshly caught fish directly from the cutter - there is still inshore fishing in the area.

Area: The Jammerbugten is one of the most frequented holiday areas in Denmark. Here you will find the classic holiday resorts like Blokhus, Løkken and Tversted with the fine and children friendly sand beaches. During summer the population increases significantly because of the many tourists, and you are not alone, if you choose to go to Løkken on a summer evening. The many tourists have great fun and create a cosy atmosphere in the holiday resorts along the west coast.

One of the reasons why the Jammerbugten has gained immense popularity is its central position in the area. From here you can easily reach Skagen, among other popular places, with its special light, the Skagen Gren (tongue of land) and the Skagen painters, or you can visit the art museum in Aalborg where you will also find interesting shops of all kinds.

The Jammerbugten itself also offers a lot of fantastic and exciting experiences within art and culture, and if you prefer to go for a swim or a walk, you have the many white beaches, steep slopes and deep ravines surrounded by wood and heather areas.

If you are a golf enthusiast, the Jammerbugten and Northern Jutland will be pure paradise for you. There are 20 golf courses waiting for you in Northern Jutland, and nature here is generous giving everybody both splendid golf adventures as well as beautiful nature experiences &#(8211)*; almost all year round.
You can choose between the seaside golf courses at the magnificent North Sea coast, hilly courses in the central part of the area and park-like courses near the cities and towns.
