La Scheggia is a former small agricultural estate dating from the XV Century situated at an altitude of 2000 feet, from which you can enjoy magnificent views over the Arno and Tiber valleys. Due to its very central position on the hills which divide Tuscany and Umbria, one can easily drive to the main historical towns of artistic importance in central Italy: Arezzo, Cortona, Siena, Florence, Assisi, Urbino, Perugia. The farmhouse is about 14 miles from Arezzo exit of Autostrada del Sole (A1).
