Description

The south facing stonehouse of the 19th century is situated in a small place (5 french families, hardly any traffic) at 500m above sea level with marvellous view to the harbour of Narbonne and to the Pyrenees. Terrace and lawn in front of the house. Mediterranean herbs, rare animals (eagles among others) are signs of intact nature; the place is above the wine zone. >From the neighbouring hills, if the weather is clear, you enjoy a marvellous view from Sête to Narbonne and the sea.

The house has still its old front but has newly been carefully renovated inside.

Ground floor: kitchen with fireside, gas stove, hot/cold water; livingroom with Swedish stove (wood and gas for free). Upper floor: 2 bedrooms (1 doublebed, 2 single beds), 1 anteroom and toilet/shower.

Ideal for hiking, biking, playing, relaxing. Horse back riding with the owner of a stable with Camargue horses in the same village. Pools, tennis, petanque in the neighbouring village, shopping in the neighbouring towns (Assignan, St. Chinian, St. Pons) with their weekly markets.

Approx. 45 min. drive to the sea, swimming and paddling in the Orb is possible, too. Wine tasting at the 'Producteur'. Biological fruits, vegetables and various kinds of meat from the farmer next door.
